Dr. Chad M. Pens
Dr. Pens has a clinical doctorate in physical therapy and brings extensive experience in sports medicine/athletic training, along with a strength and conditioning background. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has specialized training in manual therapy and manipulation for the treatment of spinal dysfunction as well as for the extremities. Dr. Pens has undertaken numerous hours of specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of low back and neck pain, as well as shoulder and knee problems, to name just a few.
Using a pathoanatomical approach to evaluation, Dr. Pens looks to not only identify the source of the pain but also to address dysfunctional areas that have contributed to the exacerbation of the patient’s pain. In doing so, the true reason behind the pain and dysfunction is identified, and the prevention of future exacerbations can be minimized. Dr. Pens brings knowledge and experience in the management of sports injuries having worked with Division I and world-class athletes.
When he is not working hard to help you achieve your results and help you return to the game of life, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, attending their sporting events, coaching and simply enjoying life.
